I grew up in the midwest in a small town surrounded by cornfields and open sky. Since then I’ve lived in New York City, Frankfurt, Chicago and now reside in Oak Park, IL with my husband, two boys & a sweet dog named Birdy. My work comes out of a deep affinity for nature, color, pattern, and composition. Self-described as a serial doodler, I love putting paint to paper (or stylus to screen) and creating something that makes you smile.
About Me
I’ve always been surrounded by an abundance of art and color. Growing up, our home was often filled with painting, weaving, and clay. My first job was with a dutch design house known for colorful textiles and patterns, and I grew to love how illustrations could be applied to objects and fabric to make them come alive. I can get lost in a pattern on wallpaper, struggle to not judge a book by it’s cover, and marvel at the many ways art and design make life more beautiful and vibrant.
